Terms & Conditions of Home Staging
Typical Terms and Conditions of our service agreement. Please be aware that this is tailored according to the service type the client engages in and should be used only as an example.
1
Full payment is due on booking installation date or the date stated on your invoice for the
initial 6 week rental. There are no refunds if you wish the furniture/staging to be removed
before the end of the 6 week hire.

The additional 4 weeks rental (should it be required) is due 7 days before the end of the
initial 6 week rental. There are no refunds if you wish the furniture/staging to be removed
before the end of the additional 4 week hire.

Client must give ten (10) days email notice to Featherington Interiors to remove staging
items or extend hire. It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure Featherington Interiors
have received and confirmed receipt of said notice. Access must be given from 9am the day
the furniture is to be removed. IMPORTANT: Client is not to move or pack any of
Featherington Interiors staging items (furniture, accessories, artwork etc).

Client agrees to complete the preparation work agreed upon prior to the scheduled staging
date. Client agrees to complete any packing/prep work, and acknowledges the quoted price
is contingent upon all recommendations for cleaning and repair work being completed.

Client will arrange for the property to be clean, have running water and electricity, vacant of
ANY people and animals during the time creative staging process takes place. THERE MUST
BE WORKING ELECTRICITY IN THE PROPERTY. This is required for steaming bed linen and
lamps being operational for the photography. We cannot be responsible for topping up
electricity keys/cards or meter.

Access to Clients property will be provided to Featherington Interiors 1 to 2 days prior to the
staging date by the Client(s) estate agent (s) if required or be assigned person required via
key or lock box (if required)

Client assumes full responsibility for all rented items from Featherington Interiors, including
their safe and proper use and must ensure CONTENTS INSURANCE is in place for the duration that Featherington Interiors items are in the property. Client is responsible for all loss, damage, or repair, including fire and theft. In the event of lost/stolen/fire the client will be
charged he full retail value + 10% administration fee.

Rental items are strictly for display purposes only and are not to be used, including all
furniture, bedding, towels etc. All items are to be returned in the same condition as when
placed or replacement costs will be charged.

The Client understands that brands, quality and design are stipulated by Featherington
Interiors and no items are returnable if design is not to Clients personal taste.

Client understands that photographs may be taken during the staging process. Featherington
Interiors reserve the right to photograph the Clients project for portfolio, publication or
advertising purposes without compensation or further permission of Client.

Pictures taken by Featherington Interiors are the copyright of and anyone needing
Featherington Interiors to copy the detail commercial purposes must seek authorisation
from Featherington Interiors. Featherington Interiors reserve the right to use all photographs
taken on behalf of Clients for promotional purposes, both printed and online. Photographs
will be emailed to the client for their and the agents use.

Maintaining the final showcase after the staging process has occurred will be the sole
responsibility of the Client (unless other arrangements are made via a fee for this service).

Re-scheduling of the agreed staging/installation date will be subject to a £250 fee each time
the date is moved if changed less than 2 weeks before installation date.

Client agrees to remove any items of sentimental or monetary value from the property prior
to staging.

Client gives permission for items outside the house to be moved or re-arranged.

Under no circumstances is the Client to pack items placed in the property by Featherington
Interiors without permission.

Under no circumstances shall Featherington Interiors, be held liable for any direct, incidental,
consequential, indirect or economic damages including and without limitation damages for
loss or Revenue or loss of Profits in no event shall any loss or damage arising from or related
to the subject of the contract exceed the amounts paid to stagers under this agreement.

If we arrive to do the installation and the property is not ready (e.g due to building work not
being completed or carpets not being fitted) and we are either delayed or need to return a
£500 + vat free will be incurred by yourself.

The staging does not include any ceiling fittings or lampshades but does include lamps and
floor lamps.

Nails will be used to hang heavy items such as mirrors, panel pins to hang canvasses and
when items removed these will be left in the wall. Please advise if you would prefer no
mirrors or artwork to be hung.

It is a condition of this Agreement that all amounts payable by the Client to Featherington
Interiors to pursuant to the Agreement, are paid within the stipulated time frames. In the
event that any amount is not paid withing the stipulated time frame, all amounts payable by
the Client to Featherington Interiors pursuant to this Agreement become immediately due
and payable.

The furniture/staging items MUST NOT be moved from one property to another under any
circumstances.

If the Client choses to leave any of their personal items in the property, Featherington
Interiors cannot guarantee that they will not be removed when the property is de-installed.
